Specialized compliance tools, training, and resources can help public health regulators improve retailers’ adherence to tobacco and vaping control laws. When combined, these tools can be expected to improve retail compliance and reduce demands on enforcement authorities. More importantly, these outcomes can help reduce youth tobacco and nicotine use and initiation.
